How do I get rid of cellulite after pregnancy?
Hi, I am a stay at home mom and I do not have time to go to the gym or money for a personal trainer. I do yoga and strength exercises sometimes on my own in front of the TV. However, I want to battle some cellulite that I gained whilst being pregnant and now in the first year of my infants life. I am 130 pds and 5 feet 10. So I am not looking to loose waight but rather to to battle flab. Any advice is welcomed. Dietary and physical advice.
    Thank you

    • ANSWER:
I’m sorry to say that really once you get cellulite, it’s really very little you can do to get rid of it.

You can however tone up your body by doing some sort of exercises that will keep your heart rate up for about 30 minutes or more. As you need that amount of time, to get your body to start to burn any fat that is in your body.

If you can’t get to a Gym, then try going for a good walk for atleast 30 to 45 minutes 3 to 4 times a week. What I mean about a Good Walk is to make sure that you aren’t just walking on flat land, going up and down little rises will help get your heart rate up.

Also make sure to set yourself challenges every week, to make the walks longer and harder.

As to what you eat, don’t go putting yourself on some crazy diet, just learn to eat right, meaning less fat and less sugar in everything you eat and or drink.

  4. QUESTION:
Has anyone ever truly gotten rid of cellulite after pregnancy?
I had cellulite on both arms when I was pregnant. Since i had my baby 7 months ago, my right arm has really toned up due to lifting and carrying / favouring the baby in that arm. I can’t see cellulite there anymore. My left arm still has cellulite.

I thought you couldn’t really get rid of cellullite?

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I’m hoping the same principle will work on my left arm and thighs if I really get stuck into some serious exercise??

    • ANSWER:
I drank loads of water and my cellulite melted away! Water is the best cure believe me!

  5. QUESTION:
Is There Such A Thing As Pregnancy Induced Cellulite?
I have noticed I am getting some cellulite that I did NOT have before pregnant :( Is it possible this could be because of pregnancy??

    • ANSWER:
Sort of. It’s not necessarily from the pregnancy, but it is because (even if you don’t notice) you are putting on weight all over your body. It doesn’t have to be much to create cellulite though, which sucks! Unfortunately it usually doesn’t just go away after having the baby. You will have to work at toning your muscles up after you have the baby.
