Your opinion (my exercise routine/cellulite reduction)?

Would this get rid of the appearance of mild cellulite in the back of my thighs by next summer? How long do you think it will take for me to see results?

    also, I am 5’6″ and 120 pounds, and I have a healthy diet. :)

    • ANSWER:
try the Lil Jack Workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezris it really works

  2. QUESTION:
Does too much exercise cause cellulite?
I found the following information online. Is it true?

    “How Much Is Too Much?

So if thirty minutes of cellulite exercise is enough, what does over exercising do? How does cellulite exercise become excessive and why does cellulite reduction stop when you over-exercise? Well, doing too much cellulite exercises, over 40 minutes more than four times a week, can have a negative effect on the body in the following ways:

    1. It does not give the cells time to recover and so any damage that was already there will remain until the body is given time to rest, therefore the cellulite stays in place.

    2. The body becomes dehydrated and so the cells do not get enough nutrients or water to them. This will further degrade the collagen that keeps the thighs firm and will make the cells either shrivel or take on too much water to try and combat the dehydration. Either way, your cellulite remains in place.

    3. Finally, too much cellulite can cause the body to become dependent on it. As such, missing a couple of days of exercise could actually lead to your cellulite becoming worse if you normally exercise every day. As such, bloating is common and this could mean that your cellulite appears worse than it would normally be.”

    • ANSWER:
No…too much exercise will not cause cellulite, quite the opposite, really!
(Up to two hours is fine, for beginners, if you drink enough)

I bet you got that information on a website selling cellulite creams…which, by the way, do not work and are a waste of time and money.
I surely can understand why people selling cellulite creams do not want you to exercise more than 2 or 3 hours a week, because then, you would not need their creams. You have to exercise one hour to two hours a day in order to lose half a pound to one pound of fat reserves a week (each pound is 3,500 calories of exercising), therefore, you would lose, or at least reduce, your “cellulite”, which is just fat reserves deposits. Plus you will gain some muscle mass, which makes you even toner and smoother, so even if you don’t lose weight, you would lose your cellulite.

Nevertheless, this was interesting to read…
When you mix up some truth, not necessarily on the subject at hand, and then extrapolate in any direction that would seem to prove you point, you can lead the reader to believe anything, especially if what you seem to imply is exactly what the reader wanted to hear…in this case…a little exercise is enough.

Even the “over 40 minutes more than four times a week” can mean anything. Could mean 10 hours, 7 times a week! Then, of course, if would start to get bad…

      Some truths…

      1. It is right that cells need to recover but this is about muscle mass building (not aerobics). When you do weight training, you need to push your muscles beyond their limit, so they get damaged, tear and have to repair. The repairing (rest period) is the most important part because your muscle will repair stronger (your body always adapts to your needs). If you’re in your 20s or younger, you might need a day or two of rest, in your 30s, you will need 2 or 3 days, in your 40s, 3 or 4 days, in your 50s, 4 or 5 days…and so on. (and I mean “rest” from weight training, not aerobics).
      2. Your body will not become dehydrated if you drink enough water! Saying that exercising more than 40 minutes makes you dehydrated is not untrue, IF you don’t drink water (which would be stupid)! Do you see how they’re not really lying, just manipulating facts. And then they extrapolate with the shriveling of cells due to dehydration!!!
      3. I don’t get the third point. This is so out there that it becomes hilarious.

What are “cellulite exercise” anyway? Cellulite is just fat reserves deposits so any fat burning aerobics would work, provided you do between 250 to 500 calories of exercising a day, to see results.

What should I believe?

    • ANSWER:
My friend tried the Bio-Oil and she said it worked really good. She said you can faintly see some marks if you look really closely but others you can’t
She said she used it twice a day for about 4-5 days and stretch marks and scars went away. I’m not sure about cellulite yet but i’ll be sure to test it out.

I think you should give it a try because she highly recommends it.
