What to Look for in a Cellulite Wrap Treatment

A typical cellulite wrap may be a great way to get rid of stubborn cellulite. With a good cellulite wrap you can have lesser fat deposits, increased blood circulation, lesser toxin levels and a more relaxed state. Not every cellulite wrap is a good one though and you would need to separate the good ones from the bad ones.

How to Use a Cellulite Wrap

You can buy a cellulite wrap and use it at home or you can go to a spa for a cellulite wrap treatment. Both ways involve having to wear special clothing or a wrap around that is made of special rubber or plastic. Some wraps may come with special lotions or may already come soaked in solutions. A cellulite wrap is swathed around and left on the cellulite area for a few minutes or hours. Some wraps may be used while performing one’s daily activities. Other wraps however are recommended for use at night while sleeping.

How Wraps Work

Regardless of whether you use a wrap at home or go to a spa for it, all cellulite wraps work in much the same way. The lotion, solution or materials in a wrap are supposed to be able to help melt down body fat and increase blood circulation to reduce the appearance of cellulite and promote waste removal. Other wraps use a combination of compression, aromatherapy and natural herbal solutions to promote detoxification.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
    Body wraps and cellulite treatments?
Ladies have any of you ever had a body wrap or cellulite treatment? If you have what were the results? Are there any health risks?

    • ANSWER:
I have never had a body wrap done but I’ve heard good things from those that have tried them. As for the risks with them I would double check with the spa where it’s being done (if that’s where you are getting it done). As for the cellulite treatments and risks with them I would double check with your dr to see what they say. I would also recommend asking them their thoughts about the body wraps.

  2. QUESTION:
Has anyone ever had Cellulite reducing massage treatments?
Not the body wraps, or laser treatments, actual massages that claim to reduce cellulite? Im thinking about trying a few sessions, I know some women at my work have tried it and they say that they’ve seen some improvement. I’d like to know anyones opinion on cellulite massages, have YOU seen any improvement? Is it worth your money? Also how much would you pay for it?? where Im looking its 6 sessions for 0

    • ANSWER:
Hi, it is not worth the money – you can massage your problem areas yourself wothout paying money at all. Go to http://www.fight-cellulite.com – massages section to see what works best.

  3. QUESTION:
Does anyone have a good beauty recipe for a homemade skin body wrap?
For either detox or cellulite treatments. Feeling like a good pampering weekend :)

    • ANSWER:
cellulite well hmmm the coffee grind treatment? you just get olive oil mix it with coffee grinds make it warm get a plastic sheet and put the coffee grind and leave it there for 30 mins :)

  4. QUESTION:
Does anyone know the difference between these treatments and which one is the most effective?
    These are the treatments:
Cellulite Aromatherapy Fat Reduction Wrap,Oleaslim cellulite and fat reduction body wrap, and the Fat-firming massage.

    Thanks

    • ANSWER:
Both are just therapeutic spa treatments. I would imagine either one would be just as effective for short term ‘results’, but be warned – these are usually very costly, regardless of how great they make you feel, and if you are looking for long term results, you will be highly disappointed.

      Do your research.

I hope you find some answers here from people who have had both, and advise whether they are feeling benefits from them.

I had the “fat reduction” done while on a cruise ship, and it felt wonderful (without a doubt) but there were no other results of it, other than feeling great.

I’ve still got normal female cellulite…I’ve learned to accept it, and to stop trying to treat something that genetics are in control of.

My advice, just go get a ‘feel good’ massage and save your $$.

  5. QUESTION:
    Endermatherapy for cellulite?
ladies! have you ever had a endermatherpy session at a spa to help reduce your cellulite? i am thinking of getting one treatment along with a sweedish body wrap, but worry that my cellulite will look worse! look forward to some feedback here..thanks!!

    • ANSWER:
If it is the same procedure as Endermologie, where they use suction and rollers, it can’t possibly make you look worse. At worst, it simply will not provide the results you seek. Have a look at this website, it is very informative:
