QUESTION:
my eight year old sister is 103 pounds. it is unhealthy/gross and makes me hate her?
my eight year old sister is somewhere between 4’8 and 4’9 and as of yesterday weights 103 pounds. Now, i am not a doctor but that seems veryyy overweight to me considering i was 5’2/105 pounds when i was 16. and don’t tell me everyones body is different and it depends how you are built because at 8 years old, there is no way your “build” can justify ONE HUNDRED AND THREE POUNDS. and it is all carried in her stomach. her stomach is sooooo big and i hate it! when i see her getting dressed or if she is wearing something tight i get so mad. and she wears her pants below her huge gut so it makes it look so much more weird/gross and her stomach is all denty like its cellulite or something. and my parents act like its ok. it gets me so mad and it makes me hate her. i dont want to hate her because she loves me so much and looks up to me ( there is a nine year age differnece between us ) and she does anything i ask her even when i am mean to her and it makes me sad that i am so mean to her because of her wieght and i feel bad even just writing this. but she does eat a lot. like she will have maybe 10 dino nuggets for dinner plus canned corn and a hugeeee serving of homemade potatoes that are made with cream and butter. that is what she had tonight. and the other day she had dino nuggets, corn, potatoes AND tacos. someone please agree with me and tell me this is unhealthy, PLEASE.-
ANSWER:
How about when you’re 18, you get a job and move your ass out of the house? Then you wouldn’t have to ‘hate’ your sister.

i am saying that i FEEL BAD saying this and i hate the way i treat her. did you skip that part? i dont WANT to feel this way about her but i cant help it.
ok everyone, be mean to me, that should make me be nicer to my sister just like me calling her fat will make her skinny. Great thinking! listen, i am not TRYING to feel this way toward her. i feel bad that i feel this way but i cant help it. how can i learn to see past her weight?-
ANSWER:
she loves me so much and looks up to me ? how can you read what you just wrote knowing how you treat her, without crying ?I honestly believe you are interested in helping your sister but I’m also convinced that you don’t have the compassion needed for this task. consider getting some help for yourself first. then and only then will you be able to help someone else.
I do agree that your parents should be taking a more active roll in her lifestyle/health.
