Try skin brushing. This technique is very simple and relatively inexpensive. Simply use a loofah sponge or a soft body brush and scrub your hips, thighs and belly. This not only helps you to exfoliate, but it also stimulates blood flow and supports lymph functions. This will help to minimize the appearance of cellulite.

  4. QUESTION:
    Severe cellulite for age?
I am a thin figure, but the problem is, I can’t seem to get rid of this cellulite under my bum and on my back upper thighs. It’s hard to explain, so I took a photo. It’s repulsive. I try and go jogging and I go on my bike — but I can’t seem to get rid of it.

It looks like cellulite to me. However, I had it a few months ago and since then lost at least 6lbs, but it is still there.

(Sorry for these photos, but it’s all I can do to show where all the cellulite is. I know it’s gross. I’m sorry.)

Is it really noticeable and severe? It’s destroying my self confidence.. I feel very ashamed. It’s so unattractive. I worry it’s very noticeable. I’m only 21 years old. :(

  5. QUESTION:
    SEVERE cellulite ever since puberty?
Has this happened to anybody else? I’m 22 now, but ever since about age 13, when I went through a huge growth spurt(I went from like 5’2″ to my current height of 5’9″ in a year!), I’ve had severe cellulite and stretch marks. Seriously, I look like a 50 year old who’s had a couple kids. The cellulite is really saggy and lumpy and wobbly and goes all the way down the back of my legs to my knees.

I feel like I never got a chance to just run around in shorts or a bikini and appreciate summer like normal girls, and never will. I refuse to let anybody see me without shorts that come down to my knees, even my boyfriend.

Why did this happen to me, was it because of my growth spurt? I’m pretty thin, I’m healthy, and I’m a vegan/vegetarian. Admittedly I don’t exercise much, but I’m not a complete couch potato either.

Every year it gets worse despite the fact that it’s SO bad that it doesn’t look like in CAN get worse. I’m so scared that if my current boyfriend and I break up, I’ll be completely alone forever.

So are there other people with this problem out there, or am I just incredibly unlucky? I need some emotional support right about now. :(
P.S. I was going to put up a photo of someone’s cellulite that looks as bad as mine, but – I kid you not – I couldn’t find anything bad enough. Yeah.

    • ANSWER:
well there is your problem my dear. you don’t excersize. if you have no muscle tone you have no chance of battleing the lumps. try for one hour a day at least. then although you may have a slight dissadvantage because of genes, you have to at least try to do something about it! and i don’t mean just a short jog that barely raises your breath. i mean if your not sweating your not working hard enough. invite your friends along with you so its fun. :P good luck
